Our Glittering Beginnings
Back in 2015, we envisioned a spectacular event that would not only celebrate the achievements of LGBTQ+ individuals but also inspire and uplift the entire community. The inaugural Holiday Wish Gala took center stage as a glitzy black-tie affair held in the heart of Washington DC. This extraordinary evening became a platform to highlight the remarkable accomplishments of LGBTQ+ members, particularly those of color, sharing stories of triumph and unwavering perseverance.
A Resounding Success
The response was overwhelming. The event sold out, a testament to the hunger for positive representation and connection within our community. The gala showcased the immense strength and resilience that define us, proving that together, we are an unstoppable force for change. None of this would have been possible without the collaboration and support of the DC Human Rights Coalition and our dedicated team of passionate individuals.
