It Began as a party for a purpose!
In 2015, we decided to host a glitzy black tie event called The Holiday Wish Gala. It was a glamorous, sold out affair in the nation’s capital, Washington DC. Many of our LGBTQ+ community members of color were doing amazing and impactful things in and around the country. We believed the LGBTQ+ community of color deserved to know and be inspired by those untold stories of triumph and perseverance and they deserved our support.
With the support of the DC Human Rights Coalition and our talented team, the Holiday Wish Gala was a tremendously successful party with a purpose.
Today, we’ve raised thousands of dollars and in-kind services while bridging the gap for many smaller yet essential LGBTQ+ service providers and artists of color in our community.
